Venue: Senior Citizens’ Hall, Curriers Lane, Shifnal, TF11 8EQ "The Classical Music Group is a merger (from Aug 2024) of two groups; the Opera Group which has been going for just over a year, and a revival of the former Classical Music Group.  We meet on the third Friday of each month at the Senior Citizens Hall, Shifnal. The group is led by Peter West who is no musician but an enthusiastic amateur.  We have around a dozen members, though we may well be able to accommodate a few more.  Please contact Peter West for details.  In an informal manner, we talk about and listen to plenty of Western Classical Music from over the last millennium or so, though we do not arrange visits to concerts or other performances; though we do encourage members to make their own arrangements and to report back on their experiences."
