Who we are
Wrekin u3a is a friendly and welcoming group for people in the area who are in later life.
We have a wide range of Events and special Interest Groups, from Art Appreciation to Walking Groups, and from Craft Groups to Tai Chi. The vibe is informal, relaxed and open to new ideas – it’s run by people like you for people like you.
Monthly general meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2.15pm except December.

Don’t forget: Parking is available for Wrekin u3a members at the Park House Hotel for our Tuesday General Meeting if spaces are unavailable in the village car park.
America - As Time Goes By
Ian & Hilary Templeton
An Audio/Visual tour of aspects of America, from the Revolution to the present day, chosen to inform, entertain and amuse. Ian and Hilary have raised over £44,000 for the Air Ambulance service through their presentations. Here they return to take us on a trip which includes:- Lewis & Clark; Lincoln; Freedom's Frontier; All aboard and The White House - but it might not be what you think!

u3a matters
is the membership magazine of the u3a. It is published by the u3a Trust five times a year. It is packed with stories about members' and u3a activities, plus celebrity interviews and features on technology, recipes, travel, competitions, and a lively and popular letters section.
It is posted direct to all members’ homes in an environmentally friendly paper wrapper (unless more than one member lives at the same address, in which case one copy is sent to the household). An on-line version is available and you can view the recent editions of the magazine online here. If you do not want to receive the paper version, you can contact the Membership Secretary and opt-out.
