Link David Tordoff In the Arms of Morpheus - the science of sleep. Why do we need to spend a third of our lives sleeping ? What are its processes, how much do we need, what are its stages, plus why do we dream, snore, yawn etc. ? The talk aims to provide some interesting answers to these questions, common to us all.
Open Meeting - Groups’ Open Event. A chance for members and non-members to find out more about the Wrekin u3a and to see what goes on in the interest groups.
COME DINE WITH ME GROUP
A themed late lunch with food and a courtesy drink will be hosted by the Come Dine With Me team. Food will be prepared by the team members following EHO guidance. The venue will vary, and will be held in one teams homes. Details of location will be advised on booking.
The date of the next event and the purchase of tickets will be available at the membership meeting each month at a cost of £15 per person. (Cash Only please.)
Members Coffee Morning
We now have a regular Coffee Morning at The Park House Hotel in Shifnal on the 2nd Monday of the month at 10am - noon where you can meet up for a chat and treat yourself to a coffee and possibly a slice of very good cake.
