The definition of well-being is “the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy” and making the most of our third age is one of the founding principles of our movement. With these in mind, our Wellbeing Group will look at how to be ready to live our best lives as we age. Our main aim will be to have fun whilst putting into practice some of the great advice available to us both locally and via the Third Age Trust.

To get us started, Cheryl Jauncey will be running a 1 hour weekly exercise class aimed at the over 50s. These sessions will focus on balance and strength but most of all FUN! Her classes are accessible to everyone no matter what level of mobility and/or fitness you have. Each session will cost £5.

The class will run between 12.15 and 1.15 followed by the opportunity to chat over refreshments.

Once the group is established we will look to explore other aspects of well-being as suggested by the group members.
