Our members are keen to taste new wines from around the world, so different countries, regions and grapes, which may be single or blended wine, will be tasted. A wine discovered at a group tasting can subsequently be purchased for personal consumption, or, not purchased if the tasting was a disappointment.

There will always be new wines to taste.

For each wine tasting there will be an outline of the wines to be tasted – country, region or grape. The wines for tasting are selected and purchased by a group member on a rota basis and the purchase cost reimbursed. Each member scores each wine tasted and by the end of the evening we have a ‘Wine of the Night’.

Unfortunately we currently have no vacancies in Wine Tasting 1. However your interest in wine could be the start of a new wine tasting group – so please contact a Group Coordinator.
