Monthly on Fridays 3rd Friday of the month 14.00pm to 16.00pm. Venue: Senior Citizens’ Hall, Curriers Lane, Shifnal, TF11 8EQ The Opera/Classical Music Group is a merger (from Aug 2024) of two groups; the Opera Group which had been going for just over a year, and a revival of the former Classical Music Group.  The group is currently inactive pending an interested member willing to take on the facilitator role! Previously, the group met on the third Friday of each month at the Senior Citizens Hall, Shifnal. There have been around a dozen members;  in an informal manner, the group talks about and listen to plenty of Western Classical Music from over the last millennium or so, though they did not arrange visits to concerts or other performances; nevertheless, members were encouraged to make their own arrangements and to report back on their experiences.
